In 10 short days I will become a lump on my couch. Yes, for 8ish weeks I will be a stay at home wife. That is until the 8 weeks are up, then I'll become a working mom. I've been trying to come up with things that I can do to keep myself busy for 8 weeks while my little guy prepares himself to join us in this world and I've got nothing. I've been working since I was 17 and I have absolutely no productive hobbies besides the normal cooking and cleaning. I always thought that reading was a great hobby, and don't get me wrong I will never stop enjoying books, but a girl is only going to be able to read so many books in 8 weeks before she loses her mind. So I've come to the conclusion that I should start a blog! Why not? It's not going to hurt anyone if I write down just how productive one can become when they are cooped up in their house for this long. So this is my warning to you, this could quite possibly become the most boring blog you will ever read. The fact that you made it this far is actually quite commendable, congratulations! I hope you enjoy the ride.

I will start by giving you a short version of myself. My name is Laci, I'm 24, I've been married since March and I'm 30 weeks pregnant. My husband and I have been together for 5 years and decided we wanted to have a baby right after the wedding. Okay, that wasn't true, we decided to start trying for a baby in February, surprise!, the first try was successful! So we knew I was pregnant a few days before the wedding, oops. Then, shortly after getting pregnant I started having problems with my hips, which is a very common complaint among pregnant women. I've been trying very hard to work through the discomfort and pain but it is no longer possible for me to perform my job, which involves standing in one spot for a full 8 hour, so now I find myself going on maternity leave earlier than anticipated. So here we are,I'm not sure if this is going to be blog about nothing and completely useless or if it will eventually be something worth reading, we'll have to wait and see together! :)
